Shortcut to put your Mac to sleep
I really miss the possibility to lock my Mac using a shortcut (without installing additional software). I did not know about this shortcut to put your Mac to sleep, since my Mac requires a password to wake up this shortcut will do just fine: Opt+Cmd+Eject If you just want to put your screen to sleep you can use this shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Eject

Encrypt an external disk using Filevault 2
With the new version of Filevault in Mac OS X Lion you can not only encrypt your whole disk but you can also encrypt an external disk.
